When I think of the earthquake, tsunami and failing reactors in Japan it's bad news. It's not like we are being told what to really expect here. In fact, the President has been busy playing golf and celebrating St. Pat's Day.This situation isn't making me feel any better about what's to come. We need each other very much now my friends!
We love you Mother Earth! Without you, we would have no air to breath, no atmosphere to keep us on the surface, no sky to look up at to marvel at the rest of our universe, no sun to raise our crops for food, no weather to talk about and no animals to share and enrich our life experience with! And even worse, oh what a sad dark place it would be indeed!
Our rain forests are disappearing so fast they are nearly gone! Not only will all the special animals that live there die but we have medicines that are made from plants there that can never be replaced or duplicated. Do something to help save what's left of our rain forests it's almost too late now!
Think about the huge plastic mass out in the middle of the ocean that last I looked was the size of Texas. It's probably bigger now. Why couldn't those be recycled and who made money dumping them out there in the first place? It's so sickening!
Our oceans are more important to us then just saving the animals that live there! Did you know that half of the oxygen in the air is produced by plants in the sea and that oceans absorb about one-third of human-caused carbon dioxide emissions?
--A Wonderland Writing--"There are so many things no matter how small that one can do to help save what we have already! The world runs on very delicate, very small things happening all at once like a dance so we can all find some small way to preserve and help the planet that supports us without complaint."
Even as we change the climate with our pollution watching more and more animals, plants and the very ground itself dying off or becoming unlivable, still we just ignore what all this selfishness is going to cause us. If not us what about our children? Our children's' children? I am glad to say I will have passed away by then and won't have to be sad about what's to come. The plight of animals is so serious and the things "we" human beings do to them is mind boggling. Just look at what we do to one another and just how did all this come about, or why?
There is always a way where there is a will! Plant a plant, pick up garbage where you live and if you have the money, give! Send things you have no need for to Japan or to an agency who is collecting things to send to Japan. There is always SOMETHING one can do. Believe it!
--A Wonderland Writing--The Earth thanks you and I thank you! "Caring is the beginning, learning is the way and reward is the future."
We got the whole world in our hands!
